XPeng & Charge+ Launch KL Eco City 350 kW Hypercharging Hub

XPeng marked another milestone in its Southeast Asian expansion with the opening of Kuala Lumpur’s fastest electric vehicle (EV) charging hub at KL Eco City.
Developed in partnership with Charge+, the Joint Management Body (JMB) of KL Eco City, and master developer S P Setia Berhad, the new hypercharging site features five (5) ultra-fast DC chargers delivering up to 350 kW.
Located within the KL Eco City development, the station offers easy access via the Federal Highway, New Pantai Expressway and Jalan Bangsar, giving EV owners rapid and convenient charging in the heart of the city.

The site is part of the Charge+ XPeng Supercharging Network, which will roll out at least 20 ultra-fast locations across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. It also anchors Charge+’s 5,000 km DC charging highway connecting Singapore to Vietnam.
Malaysia plays a key role in this regional plan. The KL Eco City chargers, ranging between 200 and 350 kW, are open to all EV brands at a promotional rate of RM1.125/kWh (usual rate RM1.50/kWh).
It is one of the first four sites to go live under the partnership, alongside Royal Square Novena and Downtown East in Singapore, and One Bangkok in Thailand.

XPeng’s latest EVs, including the newly launched G6 Facelift with 5C battery tech, can take advantage of this network with charging speeds up to 451 kW. XPeng owners will also enjoy three years of preferential rates and exclusive discounts at these co-developed charging hubs.
By end 2025, the XPeng app will integrate with Charge+’s system, allowing users to locate, pay and manage charging directly from their cars. The network remains open to all EV brands, ensuring transparency and accessibility across the region.

Charge+ Chairman Ong Tze Boon said, “As the largest EV charging operator in Southeast Asia, Charge+ is steadfast in our mission to catalyse electric mobility in the region through our 5,000 km EV charging highway. The KL Eco City hub represents a vital node in this ambition and will enable seamless cross-border travel.”
S P Setia Berhad Executive Vice President Liong Kok Kit added, “Our collaboration with Charge+ reflects S P Setia’s vision for sustainable urban development. By introducing Kuala Lumpur’s fastest charging hub, we’re enhancing convenience and connectivity while driving Malaysia’s green mobility goals.”
Together, XPeng and Charge+ are accelerating the region’s transition to electric mobility through a network that makes long-distance EV travel simple, fast and accessible to all.
