PRO-NET is bringing the Proton e.MAS 5 ‘Own Your Space’ showcase to Starhill, Kuala Lumpur, from Nov 14 to 16, open daily from 10AM to 10PM. The three-day event invites Malaysians to experience the country’s first affordable electric vehicle (EV) in a lively, lifestyle-focused setting.

Following its grand launch on Oct 30, the Proton e.MAS 5 is making its first major public appearance. The showcase gives visitors a hands-on experience of the EV, highlighting how it fits city life, young professionals, and growing families.

“The Proton e.MAS 5 has been designed to fit every Malaysian’s lifestyle,” said Puan Salawati Yusoff, Chief Brand Officer of PRO-NET. “Through this showcase, we want people to not only see the car, but experience what it means to own their space, in style, comfort, and with confidence.”

A highlight of the event is the live radio session “Electric on Air” with Hot FM where the Proton e.MAS 5 will power the broadcast through its Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function, becoming the first EV in Malaysia to energise a live radio show.

For those unfamiliar, V2L tech allows an EV to function as a mobile power bank, supplying AC power from its high-voltage battery to run external electrical devices. In this case, it will demonstrate how the e.MAS 5 can power events, entertainment setups, and lifestyle experiences.

Visitors can also explore the Proton e.MAS 5 up close, enjoy interactive activities, and claim exclusive giveaways. The first 200 visitors to complete the booking form will receive a special gift.

Since its launch, the Proton e.MAS 5 has received over 10,000 bookings. The model is currently available at a special launch price from RM56,800 for the Prime variant and RM69,800 for the Premium variant, after a RM3,000 rebate valid until Dec 31, 2025.
