Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) officially teased the upcoming 2026 Mitsubishi XForce for Malaysia online earlier today.

At last, following its recent local sighting, the 2026 Mitsubishi XForce B-SUV takes another step closer to its official launch. Earlier today, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) officially teased the model online, opening up registration of interest (ROI) online for it too.

The firm notes that bookings will officially open starting next month (Feb). Ahead of which, MMM will also preview the XForce publicly by conducting a special nationwide tour for it starting this month and run until the model’s eventual launch.

Besides the bits of the exterior, MMM also teased the interior of the XForce.

MMM adds customers who register early will be rewarded with exclusive product updates and announcements, invitations to roadshows and launch-related experiences, as well as access to early-bird notifications.

As a refresher, the Mitsubishi XForce first debuted in late 2023, and it is positioned as both direct successor to the ASX – the last compact crossover SUV offering the Japanese tri-diamond marque on sale here – and as a B-SUV offering tailored specifically for ASEAN.

Ahead of which, the XForce has also earned itself a 5-star rating from the ASEAN NCAP crash-testing organisation after scoring 79.15 points (out of 100 points) for which. Key to which besides a well engineered chassis is its adoption of key ADAS functions.

Highlights of the latter include Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), and Automatic High Beam (AHB), amongst many. Equipped as standard here too is an Active Yaw Control (AYC) suite.

Thai-spec XForce again pictured.

As seen in its Thai market spec, the XForce employs a 1.5-litre 4-cyl naturally aspirated petrol heart that’s shared with its three-row MPV stablemate. It offers 103 hp and 141 Nm to drive the front wheels via an automatic CVT box.

While it has all the hallmarks of a road-focused SUV, Mitsubishi has also promised a degree of off-road driving abilities in the XForce. Complementing which will be the choice between four selectable drive modes as well.

MMM says bookings for the XForce will officially open next month (Feb).

Naturally, price remains anyone’s guess at this point. However, we reckon the XForce could be competitively priced circa RM100,000 to RM145,000 – this will put it squarely within the ballpark of key rivals like the Chery Tiggo Cross, Proton X50, and Honda HR-V.

Until then, you can size up the 2026 Mitsubishi XForce in the flesh through the preview tour mentioned. Details for which are available below:
