2026 Proton e.MAS 7 CKD Rolls Out – More Kit, More Perks, Now From RM99,800*
The Proton e.MAS 7 EV C-SUV is now locally built (CKD) in Tanjong Malim for its latest 2026MY guise. It also gains a minor spec upgrade plus beefed up perks.

Heads up for prospecting buyers eyeing up the Proton e.MAS 7 all-electric (EV) C-SUV. Earlier today, the national automaker has announced the availability of the locally assembled (CKD) version of which, now marketed as a 2026 model year offering.
The e.MAS 7 was marketed as a fully imported (CBU) offering made by partners Geely in China prior. We’ll also refresh your memory that Proton established a new dedicated EV assembly plant at its main Tanjong Malim production hub back in Sept 2025.

Critically, the 2026 Proton e.MAS 7 CKD rolls out into the local market with light upgrades to its specifications. Matching them too are a series of beefed-up benefits and perks offered when purchasing one, and it includes a sizeable rebate too.
Starting with the base e.MAS 7 Prime variant, it now gains a newly added powered tailgate function as standard equipment, thus bolstering convenience for users – this feature was absent in this entry-level variant prior.

Moving to the e.MAS 7 Premium variant, the advanced driving assistance system (ADAS) package primed has been enhanced with newly addded Evasive Manoeuvre Assist (EMA), Front Cross-Traffic Alert (FCTA), as well as Active Lane-Change Assist (ALCA) functions.
Apart from these minor spec upgrades, the 2026 Proton e.MAS 7 CKD remains mechanically unchanged from before. It continues to share the same 12-in-1 front-mounted e-motor outputting 214 hp and 320 Nm to the front wheels (FWD).

Mechanically, there are no changes to report. Both guises still use the same e-motor with 214 hp and 320 Nm outputs, whereas the longest-ranged variant covers up to 410 KM (WLTP).

Said power unit is juiced by either a 49.52 kWh (Prime) or 60.22 kWh (Premium) iterations of the Geely Aegis Short Blade LFP battery pack yielding up to 345 KM and 410 KM of WLTP-rated range respectively.
However, there are changes to price and perks instead. Starting with price, the official RRP now reads at RM103,800 (Prime) and RM119,800 (Premium) – these stood slightly higher at RM109,800 and RM123,800 respectively when first launched in Dec 2024.
What's changed instead are prices, which have been lowered slightly to RM103,800 (Prime) and RM119,800 (Premium). However, a special RM4,000 rebate lowers this to just RM99,800 and RM115,800 instead.

Said new prices are lowered to just RM99,800 (Prime) and RM115,800 (Premium) thanks to a special RM4,000 ‘Welcome Benefit Offer’ rebate, which Proton says is valid for a limited time only (no specific units or end date was stated).
Included in said prices is the ‘Power Thru’ warranties that consist firstly of a 6-year, unlimited mileage base vehicle warranty, followed secondly by a separate 8-year or 160,000 KM EV high-voltage battery and component warranty.
Also beefed up are the e.MAS 7 purchase perks, which includes both complimentary wallbox and V2L adaptor, free data plan, and more.

Next comes the ‘Power Packs’ perks that brings a complimentary 7 kWh home wallbox charger worth RM1,500, ‘Power Plus’ complimentary V2L adaptor worth RM500, and the ‘Power Online’ 5-year unlimited data plantworth RM1,800.
Lastly, there’s also the ‘Power Exchange’ deal that entitles existing Proton owners upgrading to the e.MAS 7 with an exclusive trade-in rebate worth RM5,000.
