900 Units In 21 Days?! The All-New Mitsubishi Xforce Is Officially The "It" Car Of April 2026

The "compact SUV" fever in Malaysia just hit a whole new level of heat. Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has officially confirmed that Mitsubishi Xforce is off to a flying start, proving that it is indeed the "It" car of the season.
A Massive Milestone: 900 Units in Record Time
While most new launches take months to build momentum, the Xforce hit the ground running. Following its official launch on 8 April 2026, MMM announced that they will have delivered 900 units to customers by the end of April.

That is nearly 1,000 cars in just 21 days. For a brand-new model to achieve this kind of volume in its first few weeks is a massive testament to the confidence Malaysian drivers have in the Mitsubishi badge.
“Achieving 900 deliveries within the first month of launch is a strong testament to the confidence our customers have in the Mitsubishi brand and in this exciting new model,” said Takashi Sakamaki, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia.
Why 900 People Skipped The "Wait-And-See" Phase

So, what exactly is it about this compact SUV that has everyone hitting the "book now" button? According to Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, the Xforce hits a specific sweet spot by balancing a bold, modern design with the rugged practicality Malaysians actually need.
We wrote about this car’s "Hidden Gems" that make it feel tailor-made for our local roads:
- Class-Leading Ground Clearance: With 222mm of space beneath you, those sudden flash floods and giant suburban speed bumps aren't a problem anymore.
- The "Wet" Mode: A world-first for Mitsubishi, this specific drive mode is a game-changer for staying glued to the road during a heavy Malaysian downpour.
- A Sound System That Hits Different: The Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium system isn't just about volume; it’s tuned to keep the music crisp even when the road noise gets loud.
- Versatility Meets Comfort: From the 8-step reclining rear seats to the dual-zone climate control with Nanoe™ X air purification, it’s built to keep everyone cool and relaxed in the tropical heat.

If you were one of the first 900 to get your keys this April, congratulations, you're officially a trendsetter. For everyone else? You might want to head to a showroom soon, because if this momentum is anything to go by, the Xforce is going to be the most spotted SUV on the road this year.
