Shopping for a new car often comes with a frustrating catch: headlines advertise massive discounts like "Up to RM15,000 Off," but leave you to do the mental math against retail prices, hidden variants, and stacking promo terms.

Honda Malaysia’s August 2026 "More Rewards, More Celebration" sales campaign offers substantial savings across their local lineup, including the City Hatchback, WR-V, HR-V, Civic, and CR-V. (Note: The standard City Sedan is excluded from this month's campaign).

To save you the hassle, we’ve calculated the exact On-The-Road (OTR) prices after maximum effective rebates (combining Cash Rebates, Hybrid Support, and Shared Rewards where applicable) for every eligible Honda model this month.

Quick Take

TL;DR: Honda August 2026 Promo Highlights

  • Biggest Campaign Discount: The HR-V 1.5L e:HEV RS (Non-360° Cam) leads the month with a massive RM15,000 total rebate, dropping its price to RM128,900.
  • City Sedan Excluded: Only the City Hatchback is included in this promo, offering a uniform RM8,000 rebate across all 5 variants starting from RM77,900.
  • 360° Camera Trade-Off: HR-V V and e:HEV RS models with the 360° multi-view camera carry lower rebates (RM8,000 & RM11,000) compared to non-360° camera inventory.
  • Sub-RM100k Crossover: The WR-V 1.5L RS gets an RM9,000 cash rebate, bringing its effective cost down to RM98,900.
  • Stackable Loyalty Bonus: Existing Honda owners and immediate family qualify for an extra RM2,000 Shared Reward (pre-factored into applicable variant tables).

1. Honda City Hatchback

For August 2026, the City Hatchback range receives a uniform RM8,000 total rebate across all five trims, combining an RM6,000 cash rebate with an RM2,000 Shared Reward.

Because every variant gets the exact same discount, the entry-level City Hatchback 1.5L S serves as the most affordable point of entry at RM77,900 (down from RM85,900 OTR), while the flagship e:HEV RS hybrid tops the lineup at RM104,900 (down from RM112,900 OTR).

City Hatchback 1.5L e:HEV RS RM 112,900 RM 8,000 (RM 6k Cash + RM 2k Shared) RM 104,900

2. Honda WR-V

Honda’s compact SUV features a single spec in this month's campaign, receiving a straight RM9,000 cash rebate. This discount drops the WR-V 1.5L RS under the RM100k mark, shifting its starting price from the standard RM107,900 down to an effective RM98,900.

3. Honda HR-V

The HR-V lineup carries the broadest spread of incentives this month, with total rebates ranging from a minimum of RM8,000 (on the S, E, and 360° Cam V models) up to a campaign-high maximum of RM15,000 on the standard e:HEV RS hybrid.

Following these discounts, the HR-V family starts at RM107,900 for the base 1.5L S, scaling up to RM132,900 for the upgraded 1.5L e:HEV RS with 360° Camera (note: opting for non-360° inventory lowers the e:HEV RS further down to RM128,900).

Model & Variant Standard OTR Price Total Rebate Breakdown Effective Price After Rebate

💡 360° Camera Trade-Off: Extra Tech vs. Extra Cash

In June 2026, Honda added a 360° View Camera to the 1.5L Turbo V and 1.5L e:HEV RS trims without raising their standard retail prices (RM137,900 & RM143,900 respectively).

  • Want the new 360° Camera? You still get a generous RM8,000 rebate on the Turbo V and RM11,000 rebate on the e:HEV RS.
  • Don't need 360° parking view? Choosing non-camera inventory unlocks an extra RM4,000 in savings, bumping your total rebate to RM12,000 on the Turbo V and a peak RM15,000 on the e:HEV RS.

With these promotional reductions, the Civic line starts at an effective RM123,900 for the entry-level 1.5L Turbo E (down from RM133,900 OTR) and tops out at RM159,900 for the flagship 2.0L e:HEV RS hybrid.
