Exercise Your Rights This GE15 By First Preparing For Your Drive
-full_normal.jpg)
And just like that, it's that time again for you to go out and make your voices heard (silently of course). The country’s 15th General Election has been set to take place on 19 November and if you are above the age of 18, you would be automatically registered as a voter.
Now before you start getting all excited, make sure you head on to the MySPR Semak web to check on your voting area and recommended time slot you are advised to go and cast your votes on. This is crucial in controlling the number of voters present at any given time at the polling stations.

Highlighted in red is the suggested voting time specific to you.
On the MySPR Semak site, your recommended voting time would be highlighted in red together with your polling station details. You too have the option to print out the voting details should you need it especially for your elderly dependents.
At the time of checking the flight and bus tickets to destinations like Johor Bahru and Penang are being snapped up fast. Hence the next most convenient and cost saving mode of travel would be to drive. method to head to. The most popular option amongst Malaysians would always be to drive. Should you opt to drive, be mindful of the advised travel period from PLUS and get your vehicles prepared for the road-trip ahead.
Similar to any festive travel plans, check to ensure your vehicle's tyres and brakes are in good condition and its periodic service has been done. Be mindful of the monsoon phase our country is experiencing so be prepared for a long rainy drive. Swap out your old wipers if you need to so that your road visibility would not be hampered. Most importantly do not use your emergency blinkers when driving in the rain. You are also advised to stop at rest areas when required for a breather.
