Three New BYD Outlets In The Klang Valley Officially Opened

Top-tier management from both BYD and Sime Darby Motors opening the new BYD 3S Centre in Ara Damansara.
The BYD brand network in Malaysia grew a little this month as Sime Darby Motors officially marked the opening of three more of the brand’s outlets, all located within the Klang Valley.
Additionally, all outlets were also officially opened by top-tier executives from the BYD brand itself. It included Chairman and President of BYD; Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division; and Eagle Zhao, Managing Director of BYD Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
“We are pleased to have established strong partnership with our dealer partners - Sisma Auto and Millenium Autobeyond – and we look forward to offering Malaysians innovative and sustainable BYD vehicles and solutions,” said Dato’ Jeffri Salim Davidson, Group CEO of Sime Darby Berhad.

New BYD 3S Ara Damansara Centre is located within the Sime Darby Motors City compound itself.
Leading the trio of new BYD outlets is the BYD Ara Damansara 3S Centre operated by Sime Darby Motor’s subsidiary Sime Darby Beyond Auto (SDBA). Our last scouting of this outlet earlier this year, located within the Sime Darby Motors City compound in Ara Damansara, saw it nearing completion then.
With approximately RM11 million invested into building up the 19,375 square-foot facility, the centre is now fully operational and is equipped with the latest facilities and retail concept that comply with BYD’s brand identity.
Crucially, this new Ara Damansara-based outlet is primed with a service centre featuring four service bays with the capacity to service up to 270 vehicle monthly, and it’s manned by a workforce of 48 trained employees.
As for operation hours, this outlet opens daily from 8:30AM to 5:30PM from Mondays through Saturdays, and from 10AM to 5PM on Sundays and public holidays.

The new 3S centres in Ara Damansara, Glenmarie, and Cheras all feature multi-bay service facilities.
Besides this, another BYD 3S Centre located in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, has also officially opened its doors this months. Operated by dealers BYD Sisma Auto, this is a far larger space that occupies a total built-up space of 21,527 square feet, housing a larger showroom capable of displaying up to nine cars too.
Crucially, this new 3S centre in Glenmarie is also equipped with 10 service work bays. Customers can visit this outlet daily as it operates from 9AM to 6PM on weekdays, and 10AM to 5PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
Last but certainly not the least comes yet another 3S centre located just off Jalan Cheras. Operated by dealers Millenium Autobeyond, this facility occupies a total built-up space of approximately 21,323 square feet to house a four-car showroom space plus a service centre with a total of five work bays.
This latest BYD outlet, which is set to serve customers within the greater Cheras area, operates from 8:30AM to 5:30PM from Mondays through Saturdays, and from 10AM to 5PM on Sundays.

Additionally, all three new 3S centres feature comfy lounges, free wi-fi connectivity, as well as EV charging bays.

Amongst this new trio of outlets, the new BYD 3S Centre in Glenmarie houses the largest showroom space with up to nine cars on display. (Note: Ara Damansara centre pictured for illustration.)
Customers visiting either outlets will get to bask in a variety of amenities such as comfortable lounges, complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity, access to charging bays on these premises, as well as free-flow coffee and snacks (selected outlets only).
Through this trio of new 3S outlets, BYD believes these will better support the brand as demands for its EV products continue to rise. Presently, the brand’s sole offering is the BYD Atto 3 EV SUV, which retails from RM149,800 (Standard Range) and RM167,800 (Extended Range).
