BYD Opens First 3S Centre in East Malaysia - Kota Kinabalu
BYD has unveiled its first 3S Centre in East Malaysia, located in Kota Kinabalu and operated by Regas EV Sabah. Spanning 1,288 square meters, the facility provides sales consultations, test drives, and aftersales support, offering a seamless experience for customers in Sabah.
The centre which is located at Lot 33, Sedco Industrial Estate, Jalan Lintas also features advanced charging infrastructure which includes two 180kW DC Fast Chargers primed with four charging guns.

Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director of Sime Motors Southeast Asia, emphasized the centre’s importance in enhancing the customer experience and strengthening BYD’s position as Malaysia’s leading EV brand. Datuk Matthew Tan, Managing Director of Regas EV Sabah, noted its role in advancing Sabah’s shift towards sustainable mobility.
BYD has also introduced Body & Paint Centres in Kota Kinabalu and Kuching, further enriching the ownership experience. With three showrooms now in East Malaysia (Kota KInabalu, Kuching and Sibu) and 29 nationwide, BYD plans to exceed 30 outlets by the end of 2024.
To mark its second anniversary in Malaysia on December 8, BYD is offering exclusive promotional packages worth up to RM35,000 for the first 1,208 customers.
