Proton e.MAS Charts 3,276 Deliveries in January 2026

Proton e.MAS has delivered a total of 3,276 vehicles in Jan 2026 alone—more than 100 units every day.

Proton e.MAS continues its strong momentum in 2026 by charting a total of 3,276 deliveries in January alone. According to the Proton e.MAS’ official social media page, this delivery volume roughly accounts for more than 100 units per day.

Compared to the previous monthly delivery volume, the automaker managed to only deliver 1,106 vehicles in Dec last year. Mind you, said figure is based on the official data from the Road Transport Department (JPJ), while no official figures were given by the department for the Jan 2026 delivery volume.

That said, this stellar delivery volume in Jan 2026 marks a positive step for the national NEV marque, as it roughly represents one-third of its total deliveries in the whole of 2025. For reference, Proton e.MAS delivered a total of 9,336 vehicles last year, including 8,677 units locally and 659 units exported.

Proton e.MAS 5 EV Hatch

Again, there are no official data yet from the JPJ, so we really can’t tell which of the two models makes up the majority of this delivery volume in Jan 2026. PRO-NET, the subsidiary behind the Proton e.MAS brand did report that its new affordable EV, the Proton e.MAS 5 had surpassed 10,000 bookings as of last year, so it is safe to assume that the bulk of its deliveries are from this compact EV hatch.

Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV SUV

Looking ahead, Proton e.MAS is on the cusp of launching its third-ever model, the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV, later this week on Feb 4. Dubbed the nation’s first dual-powered EV, the upcoming SUV will become Proton’s first-ever plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model, and bookings for them have already commenced with a tentative price range between RM110,000 and RM130,000.
