Zeekr Will Launch First Luxury Sports Car

Zeekr, the electric vehicle brand of Chinese conglomerate Geely Automobile, has announced plans to expand into the high-end segment of the electric vehicle market, Reuters reported.
Recently, it was revealed that Zeekr will unveil its first luxury sports car in a matter of weeks, with a vehicle expected to cost more than a million yuan.

According to a person with direct knowledge of the situation, the sports car known as the Zeekr 001 FR is scheduled to make its public debut soon. After the initial publicity, Zeekr plans to ship the first batch of this high-end sports car this year, illustrating the company's desire to quickly enter the high-end electric vehicle market.


As Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers look for innovative strategies to stay ahead in a market that is becoming more competitive, Zeekr's high-end vehicle is emerging.
Notably, at the beginning of the year, market leaders like Tesla started a brutal price war that forced rivals to reconsider their tactics. As a result, many are turning their attention to high-end, high-performance EVs as a means of achieving higher margins and distinctive market positioning.
